The new Moderna Museet in Malmö opens on December 26, and until then their ‘audio calendar’ counts down the days for passers-by on the street outside the museum. Every day between 7-9 and 16-18 there is a hatch opening with a new sound and a reminder of how many days are left until the opening.
Directional audio makes it possible to send sound long distances to a specific location without disturbing surrounding offices and apartments.
This is the first installation of its kind in Sweden!
Zenton has modified and developed the technology to work outdoors as well as specially designed software for publishing and controlling audio over 3G and the internet.
